Frederico Martins supports the DSE Secretariat in its advocacy and public relations activities in Brussels.
Frederico is originally from Portugal and started his career in the office of former MEP Luis Queiró, Vice Chair of the Committee on Transport and Tourism of the European Parliament. Before joining DSE, he worked for 4 years as project manager and lobbyist in Lisbon and Brussels covering issues such as transport, employment, and medical devices.
Besides Portuguese, he is fluent in English with a good knowledge of French and Spanish. He holds a bachelor degree in History with a specialisation in Political Science and International Relations from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven as well studies in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Cooperation and Development from ISCTE, the Higher Institute of Business and Labour Sciences of Lisbon.
